Guide ContentsMages general hunting guide 1(level 1-15)
So you know the basics of the mage and how one should equip it properly. Now you need to know how to level up as efficiently and fast as possible. Like I have said in the previous pages: mages kill fast, at the expense of the mana of course.
(Note: training level location is based on my opinion, you can move on to the next area if you feel necessary)
When you just started the mage, you should be in Balmore town, which is the start location of all newborn characters. In Balmore, there are 4 main sections for which to train at different levels. The first section is the entire area surrounding Balmore, which consists mainly hard-shell beetles, flying soul catchers, and goblin warriors. They are extremely dangerous to your mage in close range, since they can easily do 15+ damages to you, and you have only about 50 healths. Stay at a far distance at all times and kill them ASAP. Avoid fighting goblin warrior until you are level 3-4, since they have high attack and high HP.
The next area, which is the far western area of the map that can be accessed by a bridge, requires a level of 6+ mage to hunt in order to survive. I suggest staying away from archers and lich for now, until you are able to kill them within 2 hits. (Note: archers do high physical damage, lich does high magic damage, however low level mages are not capable to block magic attacks due to their low INT)
The next area in Balmore is the immediate southern area of the town exit that can be accessed by crossing the bridge. There is only one main monster there, and it does a lot of physical damage that is very dangerous for a mage. I suggest not training there at all since they are hard to kill and EXP is not the best.
The last area is the entire place that surrounds the edge of the map. Monsters there consist mainly of Orc Shamans and warriors. I suggest you to train there when you reach level 10, since they gives great EXP, high cost drops (broken wooden staff) and they are easy to kill. By now, you should have high enough INT to defend you from magic attacks by Orc Shamans. Orc warriors are also easy to kill since they move at a slow pace.
After you reach level 14-15, I recommend you to continue your training in Dark Forest map, which can be accessed in the Eastern area of the map (find the green circle symbol)
The portal will take you to Andarasa (a city map with no monsters). Shop around for a bit, and go to south-western area of the map for the green portal leading to Dark Forest.
(Buy a town portal before going to Dark forest, i will explain in the next page) |
